This was our seventh HomeFront project on the first Saturday of May. We turned out to help a local family, a grandmother with limited means to keep up her property, as she raises her grandchildren.
I feel like it has been a mad dash to get to May. Holy Week into Easter had enough energy output alone. Family obligations, ministerial commitments, church life and more also made for a hectic pace. Easter came and went;

Here are some photos of a joint Missions and Youth activity. We made 50 Easter baskets for Thomaston children served by the Town’s Social Services office. The congregation donated items and the youth group put them together.

I was back home on the Northside of Chicago for a week, in Glenview, the town where I grew up. My mom had a knee replacement
