Ash Wednesday was an amazing night with Michael Ferris and A Journey to the Potter’s House. First Congregational Church and a few other friends joined us for a standing room only encounter with God. The teaching from God’s Word, Michael’s knowledge of clay, and the visuals pulled us right into God’s hands. Many, if not all of us, were touched as we asked God to help us release any unforgiveness and renew our commitment to the Lord and his handiwork in our life.
I am sorry if you missed it, but you can watch a 90-minute video on You Tube (March, 2019), or go on his website at www.ajourneytothepottershouse.com to watch and listen to the teaching. You and I will never forget it!
Good News – Michael will be back with us March 13, 7:00 p.m., for a follow-up message entitled, “Getting Past Your Past – the Key to Walking in Freedom”. He will not have his pottery wheel and display with him, but the evening will be all-encompassing for any and everybody to come and receive. Michael has a gift of getting out of the way and allowing God to speak his truth. As he encouraged us to become vessels of honor, we experienced how God is using him to pour into others.
It is time to recommit our life to the Lord; to forgive, and to release our burdens, wounds, and indifference to God. Lent is a great time of year, when many experience an increased desire to change, to be renewed, revived, and made alive again!
Let’s go down to the Potter’s House and see what it is all about!
In Christ, Pastor Tim
