Sunday School is offered weekly, Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for pre-K through High School. We have well trained teachers who love children, God’s Word and sharing the stories.
Pathfinders, for second and third grade, meets once a month at varying times, for fun, service projects, learning about Jesus, God’s Word and how to apply it. The leaders are Brenda Tousignant and Linda Hansen. Listen and watch for details during Sunday morning worship.
Trailblazers, for fourth, fifth and sixth grades, meets Sunday afternoons, 4:00-6:00 p.m.. Rachel Ewers (email@example.com) is the leader. The children have fun, do crafts, read their Bibles and learn how to life daily for Jesus Christ.
Vacation Bible School is one of our biggest ministries each summer. Through drama, singing, crafts, snacks, mission, games, crafts and Bible lesson time the kids are taken on an adventure discovering God’s love and salvation through Jesus, his one and only son.
Camp Squanto is where our children and youth go for a week of camp each summer. Great counselors, cabins, setting on a lake, meals, games, and Bible lessons about being a follower of Christ! There is also a half week program for the youngest campers. Check out the summer schedule at pilgrimpines.org. Several of families and individuals go the family camp each summer as well.
CHYG (Covenant High Youth Group), high school youth meet weekly from 4:00-6:00 pm. We have great games, treats, friendships and disciple-making discussions around life issues and living for Jesus Christ. CHYG is led by Lisa Sundell Olsen(firstname.lastname@example.org) and Nick Samela.
DC/Discipleship, for seventh and eighth grade youth, meet Sundays from 4:00-6:00 pm. This is a youth group that also serves as a two year Confirmation Class. We start the night with games and snacks and generally loud laughter. We then turn to God’s Word for a lesson and discussion on the application of biblical truth. The leaders are Vic Whaley Jessica Bedosky, and Pastor Tim.
Sunday School Sunday School is offered for adults Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Library. Newcomer/membership classes are offered yearly as well during this time or at another time suitable for those interested.
Prayer is very important to our church and we meet Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the in the South Wing Prayer Room and Tuesday nights, 6:30 pm in the Potter’s House.
For women of all ages. We hold regular activities for fellowship, special speakers, crafts, book club or mission opportunities. We have Bible studies Thursday mornings (9:30 in the Potter’s House) during the school year. We enjoy a yearly retreat at Pilgrim Pines. We host graduation suppers, bridal showers, and baby showers and help with funeral meals.
Men’s (New Covenant) Ministry
This Bible Studies are offered Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m, (Potter’s House) and on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. (Library).
The 39ers is for retirees and anyone who would like to join in Bible study and fellowship. The 39ers meet in the Gathering Room on Monday mornings, 9:30 a.m. when school is in session (no meeting if schools are not in session). The Bible study leader is Jane Stoddard.
